The Sword and Skillet food truck has some really amazing food if you are in Auburn, Alabama. I had the filet mignon sliders which comes with jack cheese and crispy fried onions on a sweet roll along with a side of cajun fries. The filet has tons of flavor, and when accompanied with the melted jack cheese and the crunchy and sweet fried onions the flavors really satisfy the pallet. The soft creamy cheese was really nice with the sweetness of the onions to balance out some of the saltiness from the meat. The filet was cooked really well and was very satisfying. The cajun fries are crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The cajun seasoning is more sweet than spicy, but is very delicious nonetheless. For about $14, this was a very tasty and satisfying lunch, especially when a Mexican Coca-Cola was thrown in the mix. Definitely give Sword + Skillet a try if you have not yet.
