Bow and Arrow: Pulled pork with green beans and brisket beans

This was my first time at Bow and Arrow and I really enjoyed it. I ordered the pulled pork with a side of green beans and brisket beans. It came with a side of pickles, Texas red sauce, and a slice of white bread. The pulled pork had a delicious spiced rub on it that lit up my mouth with flavor. The rub was prevalent on every bite of pork, and provided a unique flavor when mixed with the sauce. The rub was spicy and salty, but it paired well with the sweetness of the pork and brisket beans. The beans were unlike any other beans I’ve ever experienced. The beans had an amazing texture with the brisket bits, and had the natural sweet flavor of beans, along with a tangy and smoky brisket flavor. The Texas red sauce was spicy and tangy, yet sweet, and when paired with the pulled pork it, and each enhanced the other. The green beans were salty and soft, but not mushy. Overall I really enjoyed my meal at Bow and Arrow, and I look forward to trying more of their menu in the future. Chef David Bancroft is very talented and, eating in his restaurant really gives you the feeling of being at a Barbecue in Texas, with his authentic flavors. I give my Bow and Arrow experience a Fatty Score of 9.4
